3/10/11

There were 2 less daphnia in the control beaker (8), but the temperature stayed the same at 24°C. In the experimental beaker there were 6 daphnia, 2 less then yesterday. The temperature had also dropped one degrees to 27°C. Also the timer was correct.

3/9/11

There was no change in the control beaker today. But in the experimental beaker the daphnia decreased from 11 to 8 and the temperature had risen from 26°C to 28°C. The timer was correct and the set up was in good shape.

I discovered today that some of my daphnia had died (5 in the control and 4 in the experimental). The timer was correct and the beakers were clean.

3/7/11

I checked my daphnia today and even though they weren't fed over the weekend, they all survived. I recorded the data and checked the timer which was on time.

3/4/11

Today, I checked my Daphnia, they were all alive and I recorded the data. It seems that the daphnia can survive with the 15watt bulb. I also improved my procedure.
